Hello, I am Derek Baker, founder of PRO-Gressive Rider Training, with a passion of all things "biker" related. I have been involved with motorcycles for as long as I can remember, sparked from my childhood surrounded by them. I have been delivering advanced motorcycle training since 2008 through Kidderminster Advanced Bikers where I am the Chief Observer, and a Masters Mentor for IAMRoadSmart, the UK's leading road safety organisation. I have been fortunate enough to have enjoyed a career in the automotive industry since leaving school, including both cars and motorbikes. In my earlier years I have raced both Moto-X and short circuits, where I started out in the Production Open Class before moving on to club racing, riding Yamaha TZ250's. These days though, I am purely a road rider, coach and instructor. At PRO-Gressive I specialise in providing comprehensive training to help riders with a full motorcycle license improve their skills and confidence on the road. Whether you have recently passed your test, are a "born-again-biker", or are struggling with specific aspects of your riding I can help you improve through on the road guidance and personalised instruction, ensuring you develop the necessary skills to ride safely and responsibly.
